Our Structured Subjective approach to measuring skills is a data-driven method with set parameters for accuracy, fairness, and to reduce bias. This includes a curated Skills Directory, skills assigned by job function, defined rating criteria, and both self and supervisor assessments.

It balances the ease of a subjective approach with the rigor of an objective one, ensuring user buy-in and accurate data.

This is really dependent on you and the data you have available. Some Skills Base customers can be up and running in a day, with assessments starting. We’re also here to help you on your journey, whether it’s change management of building out your skills taxonomy. 

It’s a very intuitive flow, where each employee and manager are asked to rate themselves on a scale for each skill.
